We are located on the waterfront in the middle of a bay on the Mediterranean. Stoupa is an enchanting village resort in the southern Peloponnesus, in the Mani.  It is 50 km southeast from the city of Kalamata. The drive down from Kalamata to Stoupa is breathtaking in its beauty where the mountains and sea meet. The national highway from Athens is to be taken from Corinth southwest for about 4.5 hours past Kalamata to Stoupa. 

The geographic positioning  allows for alternating weather patterns, with mild winters (mean highest for the month of January of 16C  and 18C in March) and warm exotic summers, cooled, quiet often, by prevailing winds called the Meltemi winds. But the most prevalent characteristic of the climate in this area of Greece is the ever-present sunshine. It can be said with no exaggeration that there are more than 3000 sun hours per year. Summer temperatures hover around 30C, with water temperatures ranging in the 22C to 26C degrees zone from June to October.
